STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
PSSC is an approved 501(c)3 charitable organization for the purpose of supporting individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) understand how their personal spiritual development can help them manage the many transitions of life and SCD for optimum health and well-being.
OUR MISSION
PSSC ensures that young adults living with a diagnosis of Sickle Cell Disease experience internal hope through a community-based spiritual resource designed to support them in managing the complexities of both life and health care treatments, aiding them in effectively responding to and managing life's challenges.
GOAL OF OUR ORGANIZATION
To increase clients’ ability to cope. improve their self-efficacy and build resiliency as they learn to navigate life challenges during their formative years

Safe Gatherings is a comprehensive system that incorporates an online application, online abuse prevention training, several levels of background checks, and paperless reference checks for people who volunteer or are employed with churches, schools, and organizations that serve or work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
